Frequently Asked Questions, cont'd.

Q: What equipment do I need in order to curl?

A: Curling is a relatively inexpensive sport. All you really need to curl is warm, comfortable clothing, gloves, and flat, rubber-soled shoes (sneakers or running shoes often work well). The club has brooms and some sliders available to new curlers. New curlers can purchase a slider that slips on over your own shoes for about $12.00. For an investment of under $150.00 can buy you specially designed curling shoes, a broom and gloves.

Q: How much does it cost to be a member of the Norfolk Curling Club?

A: Curling in Norfolk is relatively inexpensive. We have several levels of membership. Click Here for a Membership Application form which has a dues list.

Q: How can I become a member of the Norfolk Curling Club?

A: If you would like to become a member of the Norfolk Curling Club fill out the Membership Application Form (Click Here ) and mail it in. If you have other questions about membership Click Here and we will get in touch.

Q: How can I get involved in the club?

A: A great way to get involved is to volunteer at social curling events. Are you handy in the kitchen? Would you like to tend bar at a bonspiel? We’re always looking for people who can help fix "things" around the club. These are a few of the many ways you can get involved, get to know your fellow curlers at the club and meet other curlers from around the region. Look for sign-up sheets on the bulletin boards and announcements asking for help in the newsletter.
