1    All matches will be scheduled for Monday and Tuesday nights.

2    Skips choose rink members by draw and determine their playing positions, which may be altered at the start of each match. When the Skip is present he must act as Skip and may Skip from any position.

A.    On a three man rink, the first two curlers will throw three stones each.

3    Substitutes:

A.    No more than 2 substitutes allowed per rink.

4    A 4 man rink may be composed of 2 regulars and 2 substitutes.

5    A 3 man rink may be composed of 2 regulars and 1 substitute.

A.    Substitutes must be male curling members.

B.    Substitutes must play lead stones.

C.    No player may play twice in the same night.

D.    No member may sub for more than half the games on any one rink.

E.    Only one Pointe Claire Skip is allowed to substitute on other Pointe Claire Rinks and he must throw lead stones.

F.    If one man should become injures or ill during a match, or be called away because of unforeseen circumstances, the game will continue with 3 men and said player, may re‑enter the game at any time. If the team was already playing with 3 men a substitute may be used. If no substitute is available, the game may be completed at a later date with the score at the last completed end to prevail.

6    All regular matches will be eight ends. Winners record 2 points on the score sheet, loser records 0. For tie games each rink records 1 point.

7    Matches must start promptly at assigned times or as soon thereafter as the ice is ready. The following penalties must be adhered to by all rinks:

 A.    If a rink shows up with 2 regular members and takes a curler from another rink, that rink will still take a forfeit for not fielding a rink.

 B.    If one rink is late it must forfeit 1 point and 1 end for every 15 minutes it is late. If one rink is more than 45 minutes (3 ends lost) it must forfeit the match. Winner of forfeit records 2 points and loser records 0 points.

 C.    If both rinks are late, 1 end will be dropped for each 15 minutes late. If both rinks cannot field a rink after 45 minutes, both rinks forfeit and each must record the match as a loss.

8    Replacements may be made by Skips for any members permanently lost to their Rinks.

9    No matches may be postponed except for those due to bad weather or lack of curling ice.

A.    Any team that cancels a game takes the loss.

B.    Any game that cannot be played on the scheduled date must be played prior to that date.

10    With 9 or less rinks the bottom Skip must be dropped and the top third will Skip the next year.

A.    With 10 or more rinks, the bottom 2 Skips must be dropped and the top 2 Thirds will Skip the next year.
