Are you a new member (or want to be) and have questions?

Ask our Membership Chairman: Bill Brodnitzki

Curling is a fascinating sport with a great 500 year old tradition and the excitement of being an Olympic medal sport.  Curling is a sport that young and old alike can participate in together on a recreational or competitive level.  Perhaps we could even talk you into giving the sport a try.

Our Organization

The Norfolk Curling Club is a non-profit organization, located in Norfolk, Connecticut USA, dedicated to the sport of curling and is run totally by volunteers and supported by membership dues and fund-raising events. The Club (and each member) is a member of the Grand National Curling Club of America (GNCC), which includes approximately 35 curling clubs in the Eastern United States, the U. S. Curling Association (USCA), and the U. S. Women’s Curling Association (USWCA). These groups sponsor competitions at the regional, national, international and Olympic levels. Click to Join.

The Norfolk Curling Club offers curling leagues for all family members, as well as many social activities:

Spectators are warmly welcomed to all bonspiels, which always include time for socializing during lunches and dinners in the club's warm room (overlooking the ice) and bar.

Free lessons are available to all beginning curlers.

Since curling is now an Olympic sport, many curlers are interested in the sport on a highly competitive as well as a friendly basis. The Norfolk Curling Club emphasizes the friendly, social aspects of the sport but also has sent teams to national competitions.
